Tanterior Cruciate Ligament Tear (ACL) Treatment at Sports Clinic
I am a female athlete, age 24, pursuing and training for heavy weight lifting. As a heavyweight weightlifter, I am thorough with my workout and exercises, and while at it, I injured my knee while working out in the gym. I am a 22 year old athlete. I was practicing and while doing that I injured my ankle unaware of the fact that it was real bad. I was experiencing severe ankle pain and was unable to even walk properly. I knew I had to visit an orthopaedic for the treatment so I went to the sports clinic at SVP hospital.
After carefully investigating my ankle, Dr. Neel found a tear named tendo achilles tear with a gap of 13 cms. They had to operate in order to repair the same. After a successful surgery, it’s been 9 months and now I am back in the game and training hard for the police academy.
